So the moment the community has been waiting for has finally arrived! Working Dedicated servers! Hurrah!
We have 120 dedicated servers currently running in 4 world wide locations thanks to the lovely Multiplay folks! With Australia to come soon! Additionally we have 20 demo servers up also for you to sink your teeth into if you haven't made your mind up about buying our game yet!
Whilst the application isn't public yet, we are working closely with our Official game server providers, Multiplay. To make sure the app is stable before distribution. If you have any questions you'd like answered, throw them on the forum.
We'd just like to thank the current community for supporting us and helping us to get to this stage, you guys will not be forgotten! Which leads me onto my next point..
Since launch, we've had 3 main issues in mind that we knew we had to deal with based on your feedback
- Joystick / Gamepad support
- Demo (or lack thereof)
- Dedicated Servers
Now that we've dealt with these, (after a few tweaks and improvements still to come). It means that the development focus on DogFighter will now shift to Free Content Patches.
